TORTOISE IN LOVE
Synopsis:  

Tom, gardener at the big house, can talk to plants but not to women. When beautiful Polish au pair Hannah arrives for the summer, Tom falls for her catastrophically like the felling of one of the giant trees he cares for in the manicured grounds. Tom’s adviser in matters of the heart is young Harry, abandoned by the rich owners of the house to run wild in the gardens. Harry’s secret wish is for the Red Arrows to appear at the village fair: Tom’s is to win the heart of Hannah. Both seem impossible dreams until the whole village decides to lend a hand.

TRIAGE
Synopsis:  

A film about personal discovery, celebrating our natural need for family and its power for healing. Mark Walsh (Colin Farrell) is a seasoned combat photographer. On assignment in Kurdistan with his colleague and best friend, David, Mark witnesses first hand the nature of Triage; the process of deciding who lives and who dies in a combat hospital. Returning back home to Dublin and to his beautiful girlfriend Elena (Paz Vega), Mark finds himself in the middle of a mystery -- David hasn’t returned home yet and everyone looks to Mark for answers why. For Mark, his desire for answers threatens to finish him, but only through the friendship and love of his family is he able to confront the shocking truth. A film by Danis Tanovic, director of the Academy Award winning ‘No Man’s Land’.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN
Synopsis:  

Based on the Winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction 2005.

Through a series of moving and harrowing flashbacks, We Need To Talk About Kevin, examines the role of Kevin's upbringing in a high school massacre that he carries out as a teenager.

 

Despite seemingly accepting his father, Kevin displays an unstinting disdain towards his mother, EVA, from the day of his birth. She, in turn, appears indifferent towards her son.

 

After the atrocity, Eva visits Kevin a number of times in prison and, combined with her flashbacks, she begins to discern the vague outlines of a motive for Kevin's abhorrent crime.

Synopsis:   Monica Hamlyn is studying creative writing in Wilby. She lives with her friend Bailey who studies fine art. When Monica invites a new flatmate, Emily Bodega into the fold, she lets in more than she bargained for.
Emily harbours an obsessive crush on Martin Dagenham who is desperately trying to avoid her. That doesn’t stop Emily trying to stop anyone who stands in her way.
