New closing date for entries: Monday 6 July 2009.
In partnership with 6 Music, BBC Electric Proms is challenging filmmakers to make original new films inspired by new music tracks from artists Metronomy and Florence and the Machine.
You will get to work with BBC production partner Colonel Blimp and receive a budget of up to £5,000 to make your film.
Your film will be premiered at the BBC Electric Proms in October, alongside performances by Metronomy and Florence and the Machine.
The tracks they've provided are:
BBC New Music Shorts want you to submit creative ideas for films that use and are inspired by these tracks. The important thing is that your idea is narrative driven. It could be anything from a music promo, a short drama or even a documentary.
