British Animation Awards 2008    BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGE

 

The 2008 British Animation Awards were awarded at the ceremony at the National Film Theatre in London last night. Aardman Animation dominated the cremeony scooping four awards including best children's series and children's choice awards for Shaun the Sheep, new media award for The Peculiar Adventures of Hector, and the craft award fro The Pearce Sisters.

 

Osbert Parker has won best short film at the 2008 British Animation Awards for his film Yours Truly, the follow up film to his BAFTA and Cannes Golden Palm nominated Film Noir. The Oscar winning Peter and the Wolf directed by Suzie Templeton won the best TV special award.
