The British Council Film Dept will be running the main Information Desk in the UK Film Centre at Cannes this year. The Desk is the first point of call for anyone interested in anything about any aspect of the UK film industry. Our key Film Centre partners are: UK Film Council, Scottish Screen, BFI, Northwest Vision and Media, with contributing sponsors Film London, EM Media, Screen Yorkshire, Scenario Films and FDMX (Film and Digital Media Exchange).
The UK Film Centre will also hold daily events/interviews/seminars. One of the panel discussions is 'Minority Films For Majority Audiences' – looking at the place of black and minority ethnic film makers within the British film arena.
