In partnership with Barbican Film and the British Film Institute.
The City of London Festival invites entries for its student short film competition, City in Motion. The short film competition returns with an awards screening of some of the UK’s most creative student film-makers and their responses to this year’s ‘railways’ theme.
Two prizes of £2000 will be awarded. Six finalists selected for premiere screening at the Barbican cinemas with special awards event as part of the City of London Festival 2008.
Entries close: 16th May 2008
To enter, you must be a student (of any subject) based in the UK and age 16 years or older.
A Film-makers Forum will take place at the BFI Southbank on 27th February, as an opportunity for questions and discussion about the project.
