Kenworthy Chair of BAFTA    BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGE

 

Hot on the heels of the news that Stewart Till will take over from Alan Parker as chairman of the UK Film Council, BAFTA has announced that Duncan Kenworthy will succeed Michael Attwell as chairman. Atwell will continue to serve as Deputy Chair for another year.

Producer Kenworthy is chairman of DNA Films, and has had a hand in many of the UK's hit films of recent years, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually and 28 Days Later. He also chairs the British Council's Advisory Committee, helping to steer the work of the Film Department. Read the full press release.

 

The elections to the BAFTA Council of Management have also taken place. View the full list of Council members.
