The Arts Institute at Bournemouth The Arts Institute at Bournemouth offers courses in filmmaking for live action and courses in animation.
Birkbeck College, University of London Birkbeck offers MAs in History of Film and Visual Media, and Digital Art History. The courses run for two years part-time or one year full-time in London. Please see the website for all information and to download an application form.
Bolton Institute
Bristol offers an MA in Film and Television production, a one year course aiming to develop transferable skills and encourage cultural understanding and production of original material.
Canterbury Christ Church University, Department of Media
Cass Business School - Film Business Academy Offers a MSc in the Business of Film (including the options of specialisations in Film Financing, Distribution, Marketing and Exhibition); an Executive Training Programme; and the first Executive MBA in Film. Most of these courses will be recruiting in Spring and Summer of 2006, and delivering in the Autumn.
The Central College of London offers a one year diploma course in film making. Enrollment is limited to only 12 students a year with courses being taught by film practitioners. Students take courses in directing, producing, scriptwriting, editing, theory and sound and set design before completing their film in the third term.

London College of Communication Offers a variety of courses in film including: MA/Postgraduate Diploma in Screenwriting, BA Honours Film and Video, Foundation Degree in Media Practice and others.
London Film Academy, a non-profit making trust, provides professional film training: One Year Filmmaking Diploma, Introduction to Filmmaking Certificate. All LFA tutors are industry professionals currently working in film and television. Located in central London the LFA encourages collaboration and creativity in a professional environment. London Film School offers a two-year filmmaking Masters Programme, making six films and training in all departments. The LFS has a largely international student body (80 per cent non-UK).
The Metropolitan Film School is London's leading provider of digital filmmaking courses. They teach a wide range of hands-on, professionally-led courses both full and part-time. Courses range from a One-Year Practical Filmmaking programme, in association with the National Film and Television School, to specialised courses in subjects such as Directing and Scriptwriting. Graduates have gone on to win prestigious awards including a BBC talent award for their short films.
National Film and Television School The UK's National Film and Television School, based in Beaconsfield just outside London, offers training in all areas of filmmaking for drama, documentary and animation.
New York Film Academy offers an intensive, hands on, multi discipline, one year filmmaking diploma. Students direct their first 16mm film project the first weekend of the course. The course is taught by industry professionals.

Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh Skillset Screen Academy Scotland is a collaboration between Naiper University and Edinburgh College of Art (eca). SAS Provides professionally orientated, project-based and practise-led film education and training, delivered in partnership with the screen industry, which is accessible, flexible and promotes diversity. Postgraduate degree programmes available in Advanced Film Practise, Directing, Screenwriting and Animation as well as a growing range of short and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities. Sheffield Hallam University and Northern Media School, based in Sheffield, offers filmmaking and media courses.
Southampton Institute
The Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College Surrey offers full-time BA (Hons) degrees in Film and Video, Animation, Digital Screen Arts and Television Drama, as well as study at PgDip/MA level and at MPhil/PhD level in Film and Video and Animation.
The University of Central Lancashire offers BSc degrees in Television Production, Media Production and Technology, BA degrees in Screenwriting and Moving Image and an MA in Experimental Film.
University of Greenwich
BA (Hons) Animation specialises in the artistic and creative aspects of 2D and 3D digital animation production. It provides the relevant theoretical, practical and technical expertise. The course starts from a broad base and students are expected to develop their own particular specialist focus as they progress through the course. University of Ulster at Belfast, Northern Ireland, offers courses in video production or animation as well as media studies.
University of Wales College, Newport, offers courses in all aspects of filmmaking including courses in animation.
